PSBI Learning Academy, Inc. is being created to fill a gap many families know all too well: finding truly inclusive, high-quality educational support for both neurodivergent and neurotypical children in one community-centered space.
Why PSBI Learning Academy Is Needed
Families often find themselves piecing together services-tutoring here, behavior support there, social skills in another place-while still worrying their child is misunderstood or left out. PSBI Learning Academy, Inc. is being designed to change that by offering:
Inclusive supplemental education where children with autism and other disabilities learn alongside their peers in supportive, thoughtfully structured environments.
Programming that focuses on real-life skills: academic readiness, communication, social connection, and functional independence.
The goal is to become a trusted hub for families who want more than “one-size-fits-all” services and are seeking a place where their child’s strengths and needs are both seen and supported.
What Will Make the Academy Different
PSBI Learning Academy, Inc. will use a progressive approach to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support behavior, learning, social skills, and communication in a way that is compassionate, flexible, and individualized. That means:
Teaching skills, not just managing behavior, with an emphasis on understanding the “why” behind what children do.
Creating environments where supports are built in from the start-visuals, structure, and routines that help all learners feel safe and successful.
Offering parent education and resources so caregivers feel equipped and included, not left on the sidelines.
This model is grounded in collaboration and respect, ensuring that neurodivergent learners are not asked to “fit in” to rigid expectations, but are given meaningful opportunities to participate and grow.
A Future Built on Inclusive Opportunities
As PSBI Learning Academy, Inc. moves toward launch, the focus will be on building sustainable, high-quality programs that can serve families for years to come. This includes:
Start-up and ongoing support for staffing, training, and curriculum development.
Scholarship and assistance options so cost is not the only barrier to participation.
Partnerships with families, professionals, and community members who share a vision of inclusive, evidence-based education.
There will be many ways to get involved-through future events, sponsorships, donations, and volunteering-to help bring the academy from vision to reality. Keep an eye out for updates and opportunities to support PSBI Learning Academy, Inc. as it grows, and consider how your family or community can be part of creating a place where every child belongs and has the chance to thrive.
